Thank you to everyone who came out, participated in & supported this fun-filled community event!

What an amazing event! Thank you to everyone who came out on the March 14–15th weekend to support Pies on Parade! Over the weekend, hundreds of pie enthusiasts sampled delicious pies while visiting over 50 participating "Pie Stops" in Camden, Rockport, Rockland and Thomaston. It was a fun and flavorful way to give back to the community while showcasing the wonderful businesses that make our towns so special.

People connected, met new people, saw some they hadn’t seen for a while, and just generally were glad to be out and about.

The event was everything we’d hoped it would be
and thanks to such great hosts we raised close to $16,000!

About Pies on Parade

Pies on Parade is community-wide event that provides an opportunity for people to sample delicious sweet and savory pies over the course of a weekend, while providing critical support for AIO Food and Energy Assistance which serves all of Knox County. The event had a successful 16-year run before the Covid pandemic stopped this Midcoast tradition.

AIO Food and Energy Assistance is pleased to reestablish this weekend-long event in partnership with Rockland’s LimeRock Inn and Camden’s Blue Harbor House Inn, in honor of AIO’s 35th Anniversary this year. All ticket sales will benefit AIO’s four programs- Food Assistance, Energy Assistance, Weekend Meal, and Diaper Assistance Programs.
