Office of Management and Budget freezing Federal Loans and Grants Announcement

With yesterday's announcement by the Office of Management and Budget freezing Federal Loans and Grants, many have reached out concerned about AIO's funding. We are supported by the generosity of individuals, businesses and foundations who believe in our work.

AIO does not receive any direct funding from the Federal Government.

We are keeping a keen eye out for ripple effects on our primary food partner, Good Shepherd Food Bank, and any general hesitation or reduction in donations.  This is a critical time for AIO as market visits continue to surge, temperatures have been stuck below freezing for the past 3+ weeks, and we are starting up our new home delivery service for the home bound.

Strong, vibrant, growing communities don't randomly happen. They are the result of the conscious, purposeful choices you make to help your neighbors. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supports our work allowing us in turn to help others. There is always more we can do, and we gratefully accept financial donations throughout the year when you are inspired to give. Thank you.
