How you can help amidst COVID-19

Food Boxes

Dear Friends,

As we welcome the first day of Spring this week, we are also navigating uncertain times in light of the Coronavirus. AIO is adjusting our services to ensure everyone's safety and health until we know more. We remain committed to providing food to those who need it, but have modified our process. Please read below for information on how we will be handling access over the next several weeks.

Many of you have asked how you can help, which we appreciate. AIO is committed to providing food to those who need it. We are planning several large food orders from Good Shepherd Food Bank over the next 4-6 weeks. We welcome any support to help us cover the costs, which amount to about $6,000. If you would like to make a contribution towards that order we would be immensely grateful. Thank you.

We must remember that we can find silver linings in these challenging times. I hope that you and your families are able to enjoy some time outside during these longer Spring days, for nature can be a great classroom.

Challenges are what make life interesting and overcoming them is what makes life meaningful.” – Joshua J. Marine

Take good care and we will keep you posted on AIO's activities and news as we learn more in the days and weeks ahead.

With gratitude,

Liz Jenkins, Board President
